Intraoral Camera
Our intraoral camera is a small, pen-sized device with a camera at the end of it that is connected to a chairside monitor. It’s able to take still images and capture video footage, allowing our dentists a more detailed and up-close view of hard-to-see spaces in your mouth to make more accurate diagnoses. If we do spot anything, we can share our findings with you on the chairside monitor, allowing you to follow why we’re making certain diagnoses and suggesting treatments.
Digital X-Rays
In the past, dentists would use film technology to be able to examine the area that lies below the gumline, allowing them to diagnose impacted wisdom teeth and other oral health problems that aren’t visible to the naked eye. Today, we utilize higher resolution, faster, and more convenient digital technology to do this. Not only does it minimize radiation exposure by up to 80 percent, but it also streamlines your visit because the images are immediately viewable once they’re captured.
